UNIT 03 · LUMA DESIGN PHASE

One command centre for hotel operations.

Front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance dispatch, unified into one real-time system with an AI daily briefing.

No one has the full picture, in real time.

Hotel operations run on radios, paper checklists, and tribal knowledge split across front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance. No one has a single, live view of which rooms are ready, which need attention, or who's already handling what — so turnover slips, VIPs wait, and out-of-order rooms sit unnoticed. Luma gives every role that same real-time view, from one command centre.

What it does.

01

Live floor map

Every room's occupancy and housekeeping status, tracked as two independent axes and updating in real time.

02

Auto-ranked dispatch board

A deterministic priority engine scores turnovers — VIP, early check-in, zone match, wait time — so staff always work the highest-priority room next.

03

AI daily briefing

A generated morning narrative summarising checkouts, VIP arrivals, out-of-order rooms, and staffing gaps.

04

Confirm-before-execute assistant

An AI chat assistant that proposes actions — reassigning a task, marking a room out of order — but never mutates data without a human confirming first.

05

Role-based views

Tailored layouts for Admin, Manager, Front Desk, and Maintenance, with an installable PWA for Housekeepers.

06

Runs on one PC

No cloud dependency for v1 — a single local server that every device on the property reaches over LAN.
